Spearheaded by a group of students at Northgate High School, and helped by Transition Ipswich’s Lucy Drake, the project hopes to inspire people to take ownership of empty planting troughs and patches of land in their local area and turn them into vegetable plots and flower gardens, for everyone to enjoy.
Here we see Lucy at Chantry Walled Garden, having just dropped off some newly sown seeds for students and volunteers at the project to look after.
We hope to build our relationship with Incredible Edible, providing and tending plants to make Ipswich a green and growing town.
