Health Walks @ Christchurch Park, Ipswich | England | United Kingdom

Monday 11.00am-12.00pm
Meet inside the Soane Street gate in Christchurch Park, Ipswich, IP4 2BG (in front of the Mansion)

Why not join us for a group walk in beautiful Christchurch Park, Ipswich.

The ActivLives Health walks take place every other Monday morning (excluding Bank Holidays)

We meet at the Soane Street entrance, in front of the Mansion, by the park benches. Christchurch Park is very close to the centre of town and the main bus routes. This walk is a great way to meet new people, enjoy the beautiful parkland and boost your mental and physical health. Walking is a great way to improve your health and fitness. Please wear suitable shoes. The walk is about an hour in total, at a gentle pace. We usually divide into two groups, one walking at a slightly quicker pace than the other. The park is undulating – as a result this walk does include some uphill sections. We usually stay on the footpaths throughout, including the beautiful arboretum section of the park. This walk is suitable for wheelchair users. The session is led by experienced volunteers walk leaders.

There is no charge for this walk.

Covid-19 measures (Hands-Face-Space-Fresh Air) will be in place at these walks. We always welcome new walkers – If you would like more information about this, or any of our other ActivSport groups, please call Julie on 07810 801316 or email julie@activlives.org.uk
