DESCRIPTION:ActivLives Chantry Walled Garden is holding a Christmas Coffee 
 Morning and plant sale on Thursday 1 December 2016 from 10.30am until 2.30
 pm.\n\nThere will be pansies galore to brighten up the winter months\, and
  primroses to welcome in the Spring\, available in trays or hanging basket
 s.\n\nThere will also be decorations made by participants of ‘Branching 
 Out – Growing Together’\, a project for older people living in the Cha
 ntry Area\, funded by HealthIntend through The Health Lottery.\n\nA select
 ion of homemade cakes\, tea\, coffee and soft drinks will be served by vol
 unteers of the project.\n·       With your support we have renovate
 d a neglected walled garden into a thriving community hub\, growing plants
  for Ipswich right in the heart of the town while providing volunteering o
 pportunities\, building skills\, and bringing people together.\n\nOur Chri
 stmas Coffee Morning will be a chance for you to see the development of ou
 r wheelchair-accessible garden for older people\, funded by Tesco ‘Bags 
 of Help’. Residents of the Sue Ryder Neurological Care Centre\, in Chant
 ry Park\, garden with us. We hope residents of Park View Care Home\, on Lo
 ndon Road\, will join us soon. Gardening is known to have beneficial effec
 ts for people suffering Dementia and other conditions such as stroke - sti
 mulating memory and improving fine motor skills.\n\nWe need more volunteer
 s to help with gardening and helping other people. Please call ActivGarden

 to get involved on Tuesdays and Thursdays.\n\nFor parking for the Christma
