SUMMARY:Community Garden Christmas Market at the CRESS Pavilion
DESCRIPTION:The CRESS pavilion will open its doors for its popular Christma
 s market on Friday 16 December from 10am until 1pm.\n\nJulie will be runni
 ng her ever popular café with festive cakes and a warming seasonal soup w
 hile there will be plenty of opportunities to purchase chutneys and biscui
 ts for Christmas presents from our other stalls. This year our volunteer c
 ooking group has been working with Lime Skills CIC to produce a green toma
 to chutney and some delicious pumpkin marmalade from our community garden 
 produce\, and they will be busy working away between now and the big day t
 o make some more inspiring treats. We also have our last batch of honey fr
 om our hives - so hurry along and grab yourself a jar!\n\nFresh from the g
 arden\, we will have winter greens\, Jerusalem artichokes and lovey leeks
 …I can feel a winter soup recipe forming!\n\nFor all your winter bedding
  needs\, Chantry Walled Garden winter pansies and spring primroses will be
  for sale.\n\nMeanwhile\, our ActivSheds group has been busy building hedg
 ehog homes and bird boxes as a lovely Christmas present for nature-loving 
 friends and family.\n\nThere will be plenty of crafts too with the Maidenh
 all Residents Association running their festive bric-a-brac stall\, and vo
 lunteer Sarah from Pop Print selling her original\, hand-printed cards\, w
 hile our volunteers and school children are working on other crafts and de
 corations.\n\nSo why not come along and see what you can find and then rel
 ax and have a cuppa and a cake… there are even rumours of Christmas Caro
 ls sing-along\, which should get you in the Christmas spirit!\n\nThe marke
 t will be held on Friday 16th December at ActivLives CRESS Pavilion\, Hali
 fax Road\, Ipswich IP2 8RE from 10am till 12.30 and will extend beyond thi
 s time if people want to relax over lunch. There is plenty of parking at t
