Sports Development Co-ordinator
Football has been a huge part of my life for as long as I remember. From playing constantly throughout my life has shaped who I am today and is a big factor for my passion of sport. I have always been a massive sports person, completing an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science fuelled me to turn my passion into a career to share the same benefits of sport that I have had myself.
I graduated last year with a first-class honours degree and I also currently hold my level 1 football coaching qualification. Straight after University, I began working part time with Maxim Sports Coaching in Sudbury where I deliver PE sessions, football sessions and holiday camps. In January I also joined Norwich FC’s Girls development pathway, where I get to share my joy of football and place it into developing a group of young players. I also still play with my last season I played with Debenham FC and I also played/coached for Chesterwell FC on a Sunday.
I am now balancing these roles whilst working with ActivLives, where I coordinate the ActivSport sessions. Taking on the development coordinator position has given me a broader perspective on how sport can bring communities together and impact people of all different ages, gender and abilities.
I am really excited about this new role and I look forward to make a difference in my local community, using my own twist from my knowledge to ensure I am able to do this.
