Beekeeping at ActivGardens
We run friendly open sessions for people who would like to find out what beekeeping is all about and perhaps get involved on a regular basis.
If you would like to find out more about beekeeping, why not come along to our open sessions.
You can observe the hive being opened and checked from the safety of our hide. If you like what you see, you can borrow a suit and shadow our beekeepers.
If you would like to get involved on a regular basis, you can sign up to become a regular member of our beekeeping team.
Over time, this will give you excellent knowledge of bees and the confidence and know-how of how to keep them.
You will also be on the priority list for a share in the honey!
