Accessible Sports

Take the challenge! Play a variety of accessible sports and have great time with a group of people!  Sports including Boccia, New Age Kurling & Bowls. These are relatively easy games to play, but tough games to play well.

Festivals & Tournaments

Compete and play! We regularly hold inclusive festivals and friendly competitions in local sports venues. These events are targeted at older, independent adults and include sports such as Boccia, Badminton, New Age Kurling and the multi-sport ‘Community Games’.

Everyone is welcome! We offer inclusive sport sessions and advocate for inclusive sport in local communities to encourage people to get active with engaging and fun sport activities to boost their physical and mental health.

Inclusive Boccia shines again in Ipswich

ActivLives held another very successful Inclusive Boccia Tournament recently in Ipswich. The tournament which attracted 40, mostly Suffolk-based competitors, included four divisions of athletes with a variety of disabilities. Inclusive Boccia tournament coming to Ipswich!

ActivLives is hosting an Inclusive Boccia Tournament in Ipswich next month. The tournament will be held on Saturday, 21st February from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Gainsborough Sports Centre, Braziers Wood Road, Ipswich, IP3 0SP.
