The charity held another successful summer party at the People’s Community Garden on 1st of August. Around 70 members, volunteers, partners, funders, staff and supporters joined the celebration.

Despite the rain, the guests enjoyed live music with Phil Jackson, BBQ and fresh salad from the garden. A lucky guest also won the raffle during the event.

ASDA (Stoke Park) sponsored food for everyone in the party including sausages, onions and sauces. Volunteers and staff worked together to prepare the BBQ, cakes and drinks. ActivGardens recently received funding from the Asda Foundation for a new polytunnel.

Part of the celebration is also opening the new container donated by Ipswich Rotary.

The charity is thankful to everyone who showed up at this year’s summer party and who continue to show their support in helping local communities stay healthy, connected and involved.
