Nature activities for all the family at the People’s Community Garden
Families are encouraged to help the People’s Community Garden bloom for wildlife in a Nature Conservation day on Saturday 21 May from 12.30pm to 3pm.
The sessions will include wildflower seed-sowing, building homes for insects and animals, looking out for different types of butterflies and bees and recording what you see, and other green activities. There may even be time to visit our bee hives and see the bees in action.
The free day, funded by ‘Get Suffolk Moving’, will be led by ActivGardens staff and volunteers at the community garden on Halifax Road, Ipswich IP2 8RE.
Families are encouraged to bring a packed lunch and make a day of it! Wear clothes suitable for outdoor activities and bring a bottle of water/ squash and wear a cap or hat if hot.

A free half-term Nature Day will be held on Friday 3 June from 10am to 3pm.
