We are looking for a new member of staff to join our ReBalance Programme as a Fitness Co-ordinator delivering a variety of seated and standing exercise sessions for people aged 50+ in East Suffolk.

• Salary: £13.50 per hour (starting salary approx. £10,560)
• Hours: 15 hours per week (hours could increase)
• Contract: Fixed term for one year from August 2026

For 20 years, we have championed independence and wellbeing, delivering a wide range of activities across a variety of community venues. Our work empowers older adults to remain physically active, socially connected and independent.

We are now seeking an inspirational and passionate ReBalance Fitness

Co-ordinator to develop and grow our existing sessions in Saxmundham and Leiston initially, and encourage more older adults to attend our classes across the ReBalance Programme. This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified and motivated fitness professional who is passionate about supporting older people to improve their health and wellbeing and making a real difference in the community. 

In this role, you will:

• bring people together through seated / standing falls prevention (OTAGO) exercise and specific exercise to support people with COPD, respiratory heart & lung conditions for older adults, helping them rediscover strength, balance, stamina, confidence, co-ordination and connection
• deliver engaging, enjoyable sessions where participants can take part at their own pace
• create welcoming, social environments where people feel comfortable, make new friendships and enjoy being active
