Introducing a new 2024 floral project located at the Chantry Walled Garden
Activblooms is the umbrella name for a new floristry project which is in development, working alongside volunteers on site, to plan, grow and arrange the dedicated cut flowers into seasonal arrangements.
This year there will be an opportunity to buy hand made flower gifts down at the gardens.
Activbloom workshops have been funded by the Suffolk Community Foundation to deliver inhouse and outreach flower workshops to the local community. These have already started and are in full bloom!
What We Offer
ActivBlooms will offer flower arrangements onsite with some flower materials grown by the volunteers based at the Chantry Walled Garden & the People’s Community Garden in Maidenhall.

ActivBlooms Workshop
Would your group like a flower session? We can visit you and deliver a workshop for up to 12 people.
We do ask for a donation towards the workshops and we will source all of the flowers and materials needed. Please contact us if you are interested in a workshop.
Activblooms also runs occasional workshops onsite at the Chantry Walled Gardens. You can learn to create and take home your own arrangement, using a variety of flowers, some of which have been grown on site at ActivGardens!
No experience is needed to join in with the workshops as you will be taken through each step of the process. Refreshments are also included in the workshop price.
It’s a great way to learn a new skills and meet some new people!
