ActivLives Inclusive Badminton Tournament in partnership with Special Olympics Suffolk

This tournament is aimed at adult participants who have an intellectual (learning) disability – it has been sanctioned as a partnership event by Special Olympics GB.

This will be a Doubles tournament consisting of round-robin group games and a ‘Team Relay’ competition. All of the competitors will be ‘divisioned’ based upon their playing abilities. The SOGB ‘Player Rating Form’ will be used for this. We will also have a Singles division for less experienced players.

All of the umpires and scorers for this event will be volunteers – thank you in advance to all of them!  

The event is run by ActivLives, as part of our ActivSport programme, with the support of Special Olympics Suffolk, Special Olympics GB, Suffolk Community Foundation and Ipswich Borough Council.
