ActivLives staff and volunteers, together with students of Lapwing Suffolk, have worked hard in the garden all year to make the borders bloom and produce an extensive range of plants in the glasshouses.

The walled garden in Chantry Park, with a heritage dating back many centuries, is part of a horticultural project teaching skills to young people with complex barriers to learning.

All proceeds from sales will go back into supporting ActivLives charity, which is about building communities in disadvantaged areas of Ipswich.

Access to the walled garden is via the orchard gate, beyond the bowls pavilion and former rose garden. Nearest car park is off Hadleigh Road – turn right at the end of the drive, with the mansion in front of you. Please visit www.activlives.org.uk/activgardens for further directions.
