Enjoy a Spring outing to ActivLives plant nursery in Chantry Park, Ipswich, when we open to the public on Tuesday 30th March at 10am.  We have a wide range of perennials, Geranium and other plants on offer – with bedding and a new range of plants coming in soon.  Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers will be on hand to guide you safely round this community-run heritage site and help you pick something special for your garden or community green space.

If you can’t visit us when we are open – every Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 2pm – you can order via our online plant catalogue www.activlives.org.uk/activgardens.   Just download an order form and email over with your choices.

We will then be in touch to arrange delivery.  In buying from us, you are supporting our charity, which helps local people build stronger, healthier communities and enables people of all ages and abilities to live full and active lives.

  • For more information on our projects and activities, and what we are doing to keep people connected during lockdown, please visit our website activlives.org.uk

We do our bit for the environment too – growing varieties which are bee and butterfly-friendly to attract pollinators to your garden, and using environmentally friendly methods and peat-free compost. Customers can return our pots, trays and labels to us to use again to cut down plastic wastage (we only accept our pots, as other returns can become a waste issue for us).

All our plants are grown at ActivGardens – Chantry Walled Garden, in Chantry Park and the People’s Community Garden, on Maidenhall Allotments – as part of projects to nurture skills and build confidence.

For more information, or to place on order, please contact Fundraising and Development Manager Susannah Robirosa  07530 407302 (Tuesdays and Thursdays only) or email susannah@activlives.org.uk.
