We had to cancel our popular Lawn Bowls session this week for the very first time since we began to play outdoors at Halifax Road, way back in June 2015.
Since that time we have moved to Kesgrave, and of course we have played in drizzly rain on a few occasions, but we can’t remember ever having to cancel a session – who would have believed that a heatwave blown up from the south would be what eventually stopped us!
We hope to be back playing when things cool down a little. We still have sessions booked for the 25 July, 16, 23 and 30 August – why not come and give it a go? We would love to see you there.
